Attended NeurIPS 2024, sponsored by NatWest
Raad Khraishi and I represented NatWest at the 2024 Neural Information Processing (NeurIPS) conference in Vancouver. NatWest Group were bronze sponsors of the conference highlighting their commitment to AI research. This was a brilliant experience to see the cutting edge of AI and machine learning research, including the current frontiers in large language models, AI agents, and reinforcement learning, as well as some seminal talks by some of the most prominent names in machine learning and computer science.
The conference was held in the Vancouver Conference Centre, with over 16,000 attendees.
Highlights included talks from well known leaders in AI, including the test of time talk from Ilya Sutskever on his paper "Sequence to Sequence Learning with Neural Networks" and several poster sessions ran throughout the week.
